Doru Șupeală is a marketing, management and business consultant, Managing Director of SPOR - School for Responsible People, CEO of Playmaker Consulting, author of the podcast "HackingWork" and author of the books "Employer Branding 100%" (2021) and "Experience makes the difference" (2017).
He graduated in 2019 an Executive MBA "with Distinction" at Hull University Business School in Great Britain, has a bachelor's and master's degree in marketing from Babeș Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca and graduated in the 90s from the Faculty of Philology, Romanian-French department, at the Transilvania University of Brașov. He is a PhD student at Babeș Bolyai University with a thesis on creativity and innovation management and is currently conducting the most extensive international academic research assessing the climate for innovation in organizations in the software industry (56 companies, over 1600 respondents).
He has been director of marketing, communication or procurement in several local or multinational companies, including Selgros, IKEA, Betfair Romania, Onyx Beacon, Ramada Brașov or InNuts Fund. Between 1993 and 2000 he was a journalist and manager of press, radio and TV, for ProTV and the Mix Media group Radio Brașov.
At SPOR School, which he founded in 2019, he leads a masterclass and an Employer Branding workshop, he develops a Leadership program and initiates creativity experiments "f (i) Idea Factory", through which he helps professionals, teams and organizations to systematically practice and apply practical, interactive and fun ways, to come up with new ideas.
He believes that the professional future of most of us will be rich and happy if we invest our energy and enthusiasm in projects and teams concerned with creativity, freedom, integrity, lifelong learning, collaboration, honest communication and innovation.
